EU–Republic of Korea Summit Highlights Strategic Partnership in Brussels
The European Union and the Republic of Korea held their 11th summit in Brussels on 10 June 2026. EU leaders and the President of the Republic of Korea issued a joint statement after discussions covering strategic partnership priorities and cooperation.
The summit underlines the growing importance of EU cooperation with Asian partners in areas such as trade, investment, defence and security, digital technologies, energy and research. It also reflects the EU’s broader effort to strengthen partnerships in a changing geopolitical environment.
