Gims Postpones 13 Concerts for Health Reasons, with Nantes Shows Moved to 2028

Gims will no longer take the stage in Nantes next week as planned. For health reasons, the singer has postponed 13 concerts scheduled in France and Belgium between October and December 2026. An updated tour calendar moves most performances to late 2027, with the three Nantes shows pushed back to January 2028.

For ticket holders, the change means waiting more than a year. The performances scheduled for 27–29 October at the Zénith in Nantes have been moved respectively to 5, 6 and 7 January 2028. With only three days left before the original opening night, fans must decide whether to wait and address any travel and accommodation already booked.

The changes cover Nantes, Lyon, Toulouse, Strasbourg, Brussels, Orléans and Paris. Existing tickets remain valid for their corresponding rescheduled performances, without a new purchase. Those unable to attend can contact their original ticket seller for a refund. The announcement concerns postponements; no specific medical condition has been disclosed.

Most performances move to late 2027

The revised schedule brings most affected cities into a period between late November and December 2027. Brussels moves to 29 and 30 November, followed by Lyon, Strasbourg, Orléans, Toulouse and Paris. Nantes follows in January 2028.

The Paris shows originally set for 16 and 17 December 2026 move to 21 and 22 December 2027. The tour website still uses the name Paris La Défense Arena, while the venue’s current page under the Plenitude Arena name also lists those two new dates.

The revised dates are:

CityOriginal dates in 2026New dates
Nantes27, 28 and 29 October5, 6 and 7 January 2028
Lyon2 and 3 November3 and 4 December 2027
Toulouse9 November14 December 2027
Strasbourg17 November7 December 2027
Brussels24 and 25 November29 and 30 November 2027
Orléans4 and 5 December10 and 11 December 2027
Paris16 and 17 December21 and 22 December 2027

For cities with several performances, the dates correspond in the order shown. Keeping an existing ticket does not allow a free choice of evening: holders still need to check the arrangements attached to their order.

Two stadium concerts already announced for 2027 are unaffected. According to the tour website, the Orange Vélodrome show in Marseille on 19 June and the Allianz Riviera show in Nice on 3 July retain their original dates.

Tickets remain valid, but travel bookings need separate attention

The Zénith in Nantes has marked the performances as postponed and directs fans unable to attend the new dates to their original point of sale for refunds. The tour website gives the same direction for the other affected performances.

The tour announcement checked for this report does not specify a universal refund deadline or payment timetable. How to submit a request and which order details are needed must therefore be checked with the actual seller. Those keeping their tickets should also retain their purchase confirmation.

The change extends beyond admission to the show. Train tickets, flights and hotel bookings will not automatically move with the concert. Fans travelling from another city need to check the amendment or cancellation conditions of each separate reservation. For those due to travel to Nantes next week, that is a more immediate task than waiting for further tour news.

Rescheduling consecutive performances across several cities also requires venues and sellers to match existing orders to the correct new dates. The calendar now provides a time to return, but each ticket holder must reconsider work commitments, companions’ availability and travel arrangements more than a year ahead.

The Nantes performance originally due on 27 October will not take place as planned. Ticket holders now need to establish whether their order displays the corresponding new date and decide whether to keep the ticket or seek a refund through the original seller.
