Europe World Film Festival Opens New Call for Entries for Independent Filmmakers, Student Films and International Creators
Euro International Press, Paris, June 4 — Europe World Film Festival has officially opened a new call for entries, inviting independent filmmakers, young directors, student creators, actors, screenwriters, producers and audiovisual teams from around the world to submit their works. The festival continues to focus on diverse cultural expression, independent screen creation and international film exchange.
The new edition includes multiple award categories covering feature films, short films, documentaries, animation, experimental cinema, directing, acting, screenwriting, cinematography, editing, music, production and audience choice. The festival aims to provide visibility opportunities for works of different formats, budgets and creative stages, with particular attention to student films, emerging directors, independent productions and projects with international communication potential.
For many independent filmmakers, a film festival is not only an awards platform, but also a public window for a work to be discovered. A festival submission allows creators to present the film synopsis, director profile, main creative team, poster, stills, trailer and artistic intention in a structured way. Europe World Film Festival seeks to support this process through online presentation, award selection, audience interaction and media visibility.
The current call for entries will continue to use a staged fee structure to support independent creators and student teams. The early bird submission fee is €28 for creators who wish to complete their entries in advance. Regular and late-stage fees will follow the timeline and information published on the official submission page. The festival will also continue to develop audience choice mechanisms to offer additional exposure to selected works.
Europe World Film Festival emphasizes that the international value of a film project is not limited to final awards. Submission, selection, public presentation, media coverage and future collaboration all form part of the visibility journey. For young directors and independent producers, a well-structured festival submission can become part of a project record, a director’s professional profile and future development opportunities.
The festival committee welcomes completed or eligible audiovisual works from creators worldwide. Applicants should follow the requirements on the official submission page and provide film materials, viewing links, posters or images, creative team information and necessary descriptions. Award categories, submission periods, review arrangements and result announcements will be published through official and partner media channels.
