Audiovisual Compliance Course: ISECM Film School Opens Spring 2027 Admissions

European Institute of Cinema and Media (ISECM Film School) in Paris is accepting applications for its undergraduate-level Audiovisual Compliance Course for Spring 2027. Applications close on 15 December 2026, with classes beginning on 1 February 2027.

The course introduces a specialised area of audiovisual work: the relationship between a project, its documentation and the conditions affecting its intended use.

An audiovisual compliance course is relevant to applicants interested in the organisational and compliance responsibilities surrounding film and media content. These responsibilities can involve identifying material used in a project, maintaining clear records and recognising questions that require further review.

Music, photographs, archive material and other contributions can each bring different documentation needs. Understanding the intended release context is also important, because the proposed use of a project may change during its development.

The course provides a study direction for prospective students interested in how audiovisual projects are prepared and reviewed beyond the creative production process. Applicants should consult the course information and discuss their background with ISECM Film School.
