Film Marketing Course: Apply for ISECM Film School’s Spring 2027 Intake
European Institute of Cinema and Media (ISECM Film School) in Paris is accepting applications for its undergraduate-level Film Marketing Course for Spring 2027. Applications close on 15 December 2026, with classes beginning on 1 February 2027.
Film marketing explores how a film is introduced to potential viewers and how its appeal is communicated. It connects audience understanding with the positioning and presentation of a screen project.
A film marketing course is a specialised option for applicants interested in the relationship between cinema and communication. A film’s subject, genre, tone and intended audience influence the way it is presented. Posters, trailers and publicity materials need to communicate a clear message while remaining consistent with the film itself.
The field also involves thinking about campaign priorities and the different responses a campaign seeks to generate—from initial awareness to a decision to watch. The course is relevant to prospective students interested in promoting films and understanding the commercial communication surrounding a release.
