The technical horizon of 2026 bridges this via advanced ‘PV-to-Heat’ automation architecture. EIP automation facility integrated central heat pump units featuring the pan-European ‘SG Ready’ smart-grid protocol with local microinverter relays. When mid-day balcony generation logs an export surplus, wireless data links trigger the heat pump to pre-heat water tanks to 60°C, dropping peak reliance by 34%.
