Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin: revelations from three European cycling cities
Looking at the entire EU, Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin undoubtedly stand at the top of the pyramid of bicycle culture and micro-mobility infrastructure construction. The distinctive development trajectories of these three “cycling cities” provide valuable insights into frontline consumer behavior for the entire cross-border brand e-commerce industry. As a traditional bicycle kingdom, Amsterdam’s high-net-worth consumers attach great importance to the vehicle’s absolute durability and low-key, invisible anti-theft appearance. This also explains why TENWAYS, which emphasizes minimalist Nordic style and uses belt drive, are popular on the streets here; Paris represents a radical example of urban micro-reconstruction, and has laid hundreds of kilometers of fully isolated expressways in recent years. When buying cars, citizens prefer high-tech scooters and lightweight folding E-Bikes with excellent full-sensory, anti-theft, network-connected GPS functions. Berlin’s roads are wide but often intersected with stone slabs and complex tram tracks. This has also given rise to German riders’ hard-core demand for high-end models with thick tires, high torque, and hydraulic shock absorbers (such as models equipped with DJI’s Avinox system). Only by understanding the background of urban roads can the product selection and placement on the brand’s official website be accurate.
