European Institute of Cinema and Media Opens Admissions for Film, Media and International Screen Industry Training

Euro International Press, Paris, June 4 — The European Institute of Cinema and Media (ISECM — Institut Supérieur Européen du Cinéma et des Médias) has opened a new admissions cycle for international students, young creators and industry professionals seeking to develop careers in film, audiovisual media, performance, directing, production, screenwriting, film marketing, distribution, audiovisual compliance, screen investment and journalism.

As the global screen industry continues to change rapidly, film education is no longer limited to conventional technical training in shooting and production. Streaming platforms, international festivals, cross-border distribution, short-form video, audiovisual rights, screen finance, media relations and cultural industry management are reshaping the skills expected from future film and media professionals. ISECM aims to offer an industry-oriented, international and project-based learning path connected to the realities of the screen sector.

The institute’s academic directions cover film directing, screen acting, theatre performance, production management, screenwriting and film literature, film marketing, film distribution, audiovisual compliance, screen investment and finance, and journalism. These areas focus not only on creative ability, but also on project planning, market understanding, audience positioning, international communication, rights awareness and cross-cultural expression.

ISECM also underlines the connection between film education and public communication. Students are expected not only to create works, but also to understand how to present them through directors’ statements, project dossiers, trailers, posters, press releases and media materials. For emerging directors, actors, writers and producers, the ability to communicate a project professionally has become an important part of access to festivals, markets and international collaboration.

The institute welcomes applicants with backgrounds in film, arts, media, literature, performance, management, business, law or related fields. Candidates may submit academic history, portfolios, project descriptions, CVs or personal statements according to their intended direction. Applications will be reviewed on the basis of background, professional goals and project potential.

ISECM stated that it will continue to build practical learning and project platforms around European film festival resources, international screen industry trends, media communication and creative career development, helping students form a clear professional position and stronger international visibility within the film and media sector.
