Linkage control between heat pump and household micro-photovoltaic microgrid: intelligent power-saving automation strategy for large heating households in winter
Air source heat pumps (Heat Pumps) are the absolute mainstay of heating in European households today after the de-naturalization. The breakthrough point of high-end home green energy technology in 2026 is “PV-to-Heat”. The EIP automation laboratory conducted software and hardware joint debugging tests on the heat pump system that is compatible with the European general “SG Ready (Smart Grid Ready)” standard protocol. Through micro-inversion background monitoring, the system will automatically trigger the heat pump to skip-level operation and heat the water in the central water tank to 60 degrees in advance once it is discovered that the balcony photovoltaic generates excess power at noon. Actual measurements show that this automation strategy reduces the heat pump’s electricity consumption by a full 34% during the peak evening hours in winter.
