German Solarpaket I Act and French ZFE Policy Dividends: A Panoramic Interpretation of Micro-Home Photovoltaic Access Regulations

In 2026, Germany officially promoted the full implementation of the “Solarpaket I” energy bill, which completely simplified the registration process for residents with the Federal Network Management Agency (MaStR), allowed the upper limit of micro-inverter hardware to soar directly to 800W, and for the first time allowed old traditional rotary meters to be temporarily reverse-rotated before replacing smart meters; France has also successively relaxed restrictions on hanging photovoltaic panels on the exterior walls of urban historical preservation areas. EIP compliance tracking points out that overseas brand merchants use the white papers of these bills as endorsements on the front end, which can perfectly address the anxiety of the middle class in Germany and France about the opacity of regulations.
