Infrared reflective blood oxygen (SpO2) sensor test: response delay impedance measurement in simulated extreme low-pressure and hypoxic environments
The punctuality of blood oximetry is crucial in screening for sleep apnea syndrome. In the EIP laboratory, subjects underwent a progressive oxygen reduction test in a hypobaric hypoxic chamber. By comparison, it was found that the high-end wearable hardware in the international market with built-in high-performance dual-wavelength infrared light sensor and adaptive gain control (AGC) has a data response delay of only 4.2 seconds when the blood oxygen actually drops to 90%, and the reading error is controlled within ±1.5%. This excellent accuracy is fully capable of intercepting high-net-worth users with extremely high sensitivity to respiratory health.
